The estimated 45000 denominations of Christianity continue to say their religion is completely bible based (biblical)as if this proves they are the one true religion.
They all can't be right but they all can be wrong.
jehovah’s witnesses continue to say their religion is completely bible-based as if this proves they are the one true religion.. gilles gray writes:.
jehovah’s witnesses have a hard time understanding/accepting that the mere fact their teachings are ‘bible-based’ doesn’t establish that those teachings are true/biblical.. the most obvious, simple logic highlights their misconception….
jehovah’s witnesses and their organisation have a long history of untrue and failed bible teachings.. for example, the watchtower once claimed that:-.

Cult or high control group it's seems to be getting harder to differentiate between the two terms, I think that jws have morphed from a cult to a modern day high control group.
Any group that uses physiological manipulation and coercive control to tell people how they dress and groom themselves ,who they can associate with and who they can talk too and what they can read and watch and what they have to believe in etc is a high control group,
i married bad!
the witness "fish" pond is very small there are not plenty more fish in this sea here!.
Me too ,she was abusive and controlling, looking back it began when we started going out together but being brought up a jw you were never made aware of the red flags in relationships.
The divorce process was hellish she made it as difficult as possible, she was still a jw during the divorce and to make things even worse she alienated my kids I have not seen then in over 6 years. What a Christian personality.
One positive thing it educated me regarding physiological manipulation and coercive control and I saw these tactics being used by religions to control their followers, so I escaped both .
simply put; gullible people were told if they chose life on earth instead of heaven, they wouldn't have to die.
that's how they sold it.

But religious fundamentalism—which refers to the belief in the absolute authority of a religious text or leaders—is almost never good for an individual. This is primarily because fundamentalism discourages any logical reasoning or scientific evidence that challenges its scripture, making it inherently maladaptive.
So I will end the conversation here .

Since you choose to present ZERO evidence for your worldview, isn't it possible that the same taking snake that deceived our first mother has deceived you .
NO I'm being honest unlike yourself who make statements that are untrue and based on myths, I have given you how you can get answers to your questions by doing independent research into the subject by referring to experts in each particular field. Or are you scared to do research because deep down you know that your beliefs are based on myths and lies.

The definition of a fact is a thing that is known or proved to be true. You have not done that. None of those 12 points are facts they have been debunked on this forum before, and by biblical scholars with PhDs in biblical studies and have published peer reviewed articles and books on the subject.
Atheist don't believe in miracles so please stop making statements that they do.
Regarding the 6 points you have raised I don't have a PhD in any of these subjects so I am not qualified to give answers to those points that you have raised so if you are sincere and are really looking for answers, the best thing you can do is go to a library and read books on these subjects by people who have spent years studying and have a PhD in each particular field. Or you can find information on these things on YouTube presented by people with PhDs.
i became aware of jws and the un ,so i checked the internet and found it was true that they were a member, and that led me down the rabbits hole and started to look into the history of the bible students and the behaviour of russell and rutherford etc ,and how much the teaching changed and the internal politics and the failed end of the world teachings etc.. i then found myself in a no man's land regarding god and the bible, i then began to use critical thinking regarding the bible and if there was a god , looking into the origins of the bible and it's stories eg adam and eve story, flood legends, exodus from egypt and if the jesus story was historical or not etc .. looking at the origin of our universe and the planet earth led me to the conclusion that no god exists.
.
the purpose of this topic is just to understand your deconstruction purpose from the jws and not to get into arguments about our now held beliefs or lack of.
